Titled "Breakthrough," the emblem seamlessly integrates elements such as the determined posture of short track speed skaters, Harbin's city flower lilac, swirling ribbons, the stylized Chinese character "九" (nine), and the sun icon of the Olympic Council of Asia. This confluence signifies the fusion of Chinese culture and Olympic elements, conveying China's commitment to accelerating the construction of a sports powerhouse in the new era. The design aspires to challenge higher, faster, and stronger goals, making a positive contribution to the development of winter sports in Asia.

Mascots

Inspired by two adorable Siberian tigers born in September 2023 at the Siberian Tiger Park in Heilongjiang, Binbin and Nini represent a warm welcome from Harbin. Personifying the unique natural and cultural heritage of the Northeastern region, they seamlessly integrate the Olympic spirit, showcasing cultural confidence and vitality. This artistic effort aims to tell China's story and amplify its voice globally.

Professor Chen Lei's team took up the challenge, submitting seven emblem and mascot designs. Following a rigorous selection process by an expert panel, their designs secured a spot in the top four. With further guidance from esteemed experts, including Professor Han Meilin and Professor He Jie, the team refined and elevated their designs to perfection.
